White Mountains Region

Welcome to White Mountains Region bed and breakfasts! Named for the beautiful and rugged White Mountain National Forest, New Hampshire's White Mountains Region has a long history of tourism that dates back to the 1800's, and is an outdoor adventurer's destination.

The White Mountain Region is a four-season recreation destination. With 1500 miles of non-motorized and snowmobiling trails, including one hundred sixty miles of the Appalachian Trail, visitors truly have an opportunity to get into the woods. From Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast, to alpine areas unique in the East, the White Mountains are where adventurers continue to challenge themselves in the backcountry. Recreational opportunities are numerous, including summer activities of camping, hiking, climbing, horseback riding, fishing, wildlife watching, and picnicking.
