We are an 1870’s farmhouse that has been totally renovated and updated with modern amenities. We offer comfort and hospitality in a lovely peaceful setting.
Peterborough is a beautiful, quaint New England town. The downtown is about one mile from the inn where you can browse antique shops, explore unique boutique stores, visit art galleries or a cultural museum, and enjoy great dining. Numerous outdoor activities in town include boating, hiking, biking and kayaking. Mount Monadnock, the most popular hiking mountain in the U.S. (and second in the world) is only a few miles away!
We offer many amenities, including a delicious multi-course hot breakfast. Snacks, water, tea and coffee are available all day. We accomodate most dietary restrictions including food allergies, vegan, vegetarian, low carb and gluten free diets.
The inn is located on the Nubanusit River. Guests can stroll along the river or sit in an Adirondack chair to watch and listen to the soothing sounds of the water.
Rooms are beautifully appointed in soothing rustic decor. Each room has high-speed wireless internet, television, individual thermostats, blow dryers and charging stations. All guest rooms have a window air conditioner for the warmer season, and most have a quaint gas stove fireplace for the colder months.
There are very few places I recommend without reservation. This is one of them. Little River Bed & Breakfast is wonderful. The rooms are well appointed, in good taste and are impeccably maintained. The breakfasts are great. The river out back is lovely ,and the innkeepers are very nice. All this in a place that offers a great cost/benefit ratio.
