Our stay at Aiken Manor was wonderful. I have traveled extensively and can attest that Yvonne is an exceptional hostess. She provided that perfect balance of attention: available to chat when we needed her while simultaneously respecting our privacy. Breakfast was delicious. The historic home sits on a small hill with a generous lawn facing Lake Webster and is equipped with the perfect mix of lake house amenities - fire pits, kayaks, lawn games, and nearby hiking trails kept us entertained all weekend. We stayed in the Library Suite and enjoyed reading the books in the evening. Everything added up to a magical stay that we will remember fondly.
