We're open all four seasons! Springtime is perfect for visiting a sugar shack to smell the fresh, boiling maple syrup and for browsing our unique, tax-free shopping opportunities. In the summer we offer 273 lakes and ponds, boat tours, zip lines, and beaches in most towns. Fall brings warm days and cool nights, corn mazes, hay rides and spectacular fall foliage. Winters offer a variety of sleigh rides and snow sports, including ice fishing, pond hockey tournaments, snowmobiling and dogsled races.
Cutting across the seasons we have biking paths and rail trails; covered bridges and stonewalls; craft fairs, festivals and county fairs; fireworks displays and sales; flatwater and whitewater paddling; geocaching; golf courses; hiking; museums and historical societies; NH music; scenic drives; triathlons, marathons & Tough Mudder events; and unique dining opportunities: all viable activities, depending on the weather.
